Basic Tutorial For File Folder Junk Journal

Supplies:
One file folder cut in half
Various papers and ephemera
Seam binding or some book binding thread
or anything you like that will hold the journal together
Paper cutter
Tools: scissors, ruler, glue of your choice or
double sided tape
Book binding needle, awl, bone folder

STEP ONE:

Cut the file folder in half.

Measure 6 inches from the center of the folder, and fold in flaps to create pockets
on the inside of the journal. (you can opt to leave the back side out to use and
closer flap)

Create one healthy signature for your journal with a variety of papers.
Decorate the outside and inside covers before sewing in the signature.

Sew your signature into the journal with any kind binding you like.
(seam binding, ribbon, thread, twine etc)
You can do this as you like, with one
two or three holes depending on how you want to do it.
If you need ideas check out YouTube!

Now add your pretties....like tags, tickets, journal cards etc.
You can add ribbons or elastic for closure.
And anything else that suits your fancy.
Have fun creating!!!
